The Hilton Cancun is an all-inclusive resort on 100 acres of Mayan coastline, 20 minutes south of Cancun’s famous Hotel Zone and north of Riviera Maya. The resort is nestled behind a mangrove preserve, providing a secluded and tranquil atmosphere.

Pets are allowed with a non-refundable fee of $50.00 except for service animals. The maximum weight limit is 23 kg. Dogs are being allowed, but make sure they are well attended to within the premises.

2. Waldorf Astoria Cancun

The Waldorf Astoria Cancun, opened in November 2022, is a luxurious resort on 100 acres of secluded Mayan coastline, just 15 minutes from Cancun International Airport. It offers 173 rooms and suites with private balconies and soaking tubs.

Only dogs are allowed with a non-refundable fee of $150.00 and a maximum weight of 23 kg. The hotel offers a range of pet-friendly rooms to ensure that guests can relax with their furry companions.

3. Olea Cancun Playa

ÓLEO Cancun Playa is a four-star all-inclusive boutique resort in the main hotel zone of Cancun. Experience minimalist luxury, enjoy cozy areas, and savor handmade gastronomy. Set on an expansive white sand beach, it’s perfect for tourists.

The hotel allows small dogs up to 20 lbs for an extra fee of MXN 1000 per pet, per night. Pets receive perks like a doggy bed and two dishes. However, they are not allowed in food and beverage areas or pool areas due to health regulations. Specific rooms are pet-friendly.

4. Dreams Vista Cancun Golf & Spa Resort

Dreams Vista Cancun Golf & Spa Resort is a posh all-inclusive beachfront resort in Cancun, Mexico. It offers amazing ocean views from every room and suite. Guests can indulge in a private beach area, outdoor pool, and top-notch Pevonia® spa with stunning views and an exclusive rooftop pool.

This resort is pet-friendly and allows small dogs with a maximum weight of up to 22 lbs per pet. There is a fee of $65 per night, and dogs must not be left alone in the guest rooms for more than two hours.

The Hard Rock Hotel Cancun is an all-inclusive resort located in Cancun’s Hotel Zone, that has 601 spacious rooms with free minibars, free WiFi, and free music streaming channels. The resort has a gorgeous infinity pool with ocean views and two popular swim-up bars, a great spa, and daybeds along the beach.

Hard Rock Hotel Cancun is pet-friendly and offers a program called Unleashed for four-legged guests. Each room permits up to two pets weighing up to 50 lbs. 

Pet-friendly rooms and zones are available throughout the hotel. An additional fee of $150 per pet per stay (up to 7 nights) applies in select rooms. Please be aware that while the hotel is pet-friendly, it may not allow service dogs.

6. NIZUC Resort and Spa

NIZUC Resort and Spa is a fancy resort in Punta Nizuc, Cancun, Mexico. It’s on 29 acres of nature preserve, surrounded by mangroves and lush foliage. The resort faces the Mesoamerican Barrier Reef, the second-largest coral reef, and offers stunning views of the Caribbean Sea.
